Many units have special abilities available in the bottom-right corner menu. Right-clicking on an enemy unit targets it, causing your selected forces to concentrate fire on the highlighted enemy detachment. Double-left clicking a unit shield selects all nearby units of the same type. Multiple squads may be highlighted by drawing a selection box around them with the mouse. Squads may also be selected by left clicking in the appropriate shield icon in the top right corner of the screen. Squads may be selected by single-clicking the shield icon above a formation of soldiers. Each player assumes a role on an opposing side of the conflict and skirmishes for control of a battlefield. Company of Heroes also features a robust online PvP mode.
